The rules we all agree to

Marriage only

Manpasand Rishtey is a matrimonial service, only for people looking to marry. It is not a dating site. By signing up you confirm that the profile is for someone genuinely looking to marry.

Who can have a profile

• The person the profile is about must be of legal marriageable age in India: 21 for men and 18 for women.
• You must be at least 18 to create an account.
• If you make a profile for your son, daughter, sibling, relative or friend, you must have their consent, and they can ask us to remove it at any time.

Be truthful

• Give accurate information, and keep it up to date.
• Use only photos of the person the profile is about.
• Never pretend to be someone else, or make a profile for someone who doesn't exist.

What's not allowed

• Asking for or offering dowry, in any form.
• Asking anyone for money.
• Obscene, abusive, hateful, threatening or defamatory content.
• Harassing anyone, on or off Manpasand Rishtey.
• Using the service for business, advertising or collecting other people's details.

We may suspend or remove a profile that breaks these rules, and report it to the authorities where the law requires.

How your profile is used

Our team reads your profile to find matches, and shares it with families we suggest you to. Your mobile number is never shown on a profile. We send matches to the number you sign in with, on WhatsApp. Our privacy policy has the details.

Free for early members

Manpasand Rishtey is completely free for early members, for a limited time. If we introduce paid features, we'll tell you before they start, and you'll never be charged without agreeing first.

What we can and can't promise

• We verify mobile numbers, but we can't check every detail people give. Do your own checks before you commit to anything, and read our safety tips.
• We can't promise that you'll find a match.
• We're not responsible for what happens between members outside Manpasand Rishtey, as far as the law allows.

Closing your account

You can ask us to delete your profile at any time by writing to [support@your-domain].

Changes and disputes

We may update these terms, and we'll tell you before changes affect you. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts in [City] have jurisdiction. For complaints, see our grievances page.
